The Church Ladies is an irreverent greater-Boston rock band that dresses like church ladies and plays fun, genre-spanning original music with guitars and ukuleles and whatnot. The ‘Ladies may dress like your Sunday school teacher . . . but they know how to party! And lo, they’ve been spreading joy, good vibes, and their pro-zombie doctrine to fans of all ages for, well, a while now…Can I get a hallelujah!?
The band includes Chuck “Wa” Dutton (guitar), Craig “Craig” Fowler (bass), Beth “Double Track Diva” Fowler (vocals), Karen “Shake That Thang” Hughes (vocals), Mark “Sister Mayhem” Hughes: (vocals, guitar, trumpet), Andy “Guitar Deity” McKenna (guitar), Rachel “Rockin’ Rachel” Muller (keys), Tim “Drum Ninja Priest” Spooner (drums).
Good times. Fun. Music. Friends. Family. Occasionally even, arguably, a little debauchery and some zombies. They seek to gig. And gig some more. They’ve been known to perform for condiments. And money. Amen, brethren. And thus we say-eth unto all of youse out there, Amen.
